South Tyrolean mountain guide successful at the International Climbing Championship
IFMGA- Climbing Championship at the Gaswerk, Zürich Switzerland 26/27.10.2007
The South Tyrolean mountain guide Christoph Hainz could fulfil his aim to defend his titles at Zürich, Switzerland. Christoph Hainz continued his run of successes and finished second in his category. In the general classification he was on the 4th position after the italian mountain guide Leonardo di Marino.
All together around 60 mountain guides from 7 different nations took part at the Championship. The International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations (IFMGA) hosts these championships every year. This year they were organised by the Mountain Guide Association of Switzerland.
