Continuation training 13.-15.10. 2006
Around 40 of the 170 South Tyrolean mountain guides took part at the continuation training last weekend. To keep their licence valid, the mountain guides met in Gröden this year to undertake the training which is supported by the state office for Tourism and Alpinism. It was trained how to behave when mountain accidents occur and helicopter- supported rescue was performed. Other topics were First Aid, new safety- techniques in climbing with new material and information about insurance, expertises and notification of accidents.
